Sqaw is a derogatory term used against Native American women and is the worst form of insult possible. The term is meant to demean and make us feel as though we are not equal because we are not white. The term is as volitile as a derogatory term used against people of color. Spunk Swaw does not refer to a stong Native American woman no matter how you intended it to be phrased. Your business name literally translates to “ustart Native female” Native American Women, myself included fonot look at this as cute or being an ally or being empowered. We see it as an insult, we see it as humiliation and we see it as whitewashing. You are abusing a culture that you do nort belong to and profiting from your sick joke and slight against us. Please change your shop name and remove any styles thay could be misconstrued as Native American Style.

It might be a difficult decision but in the end you will make the right decision changing the name. That's the way life goes. This is a hard lesson for you to learn but it's the right thing.

False advertisement, make up your own name for your business. Like made in China. When Native People sell their merchandise it has a meaning behind it with love n respect..Not using others to benefit.
