On Thursday 12th July, The Scottish Sun ran an online competition asking for people to tell them why they should win a guitar. 80 comments where made on the Facebook Page - 17 from different people asking for it for themselves and 67 comments asking for the Guitar to be donated to Hazel Dickson for her son who has Autism and the centre that he goes to, http://www.earlyinterventionscotland.org/ At 12 Midday on Friday the 13th, The Scottish Sun decided to give this item to a guy who had been stood in a field for 2 hours to see Kasabian - That was his choice! Charlie didn't get a choice with Autism. Please sign to support Charlie and the countless others that Speur Ghlan helps!

The Scottish Sun ignored our community and handed that guitar to someone who chose to stand in a field instead of helping Charlie and the kids at Speur Ghlan. Their silence is a total slap in the face to families dealing with autism every single day. I am not letting them get away with this dismissive behavior so keep the pressure on.

The momentum behind this is undeniable and it proves that The Scottish Sun cannot ignore our demand for common decency. They chose a random guy in a field over a child who actually needs that support but we are making them regret that cheap stunt.

Total joke. They should be ashamed of themselves for ignoring such a deserving cause.

Absolute rubbish. 67 people asked for the right thing and they ignored everyone. Speur Ghlan does amazing work for families who actually need the support.

this is disgraceful. that poor boy needed that guitar for his therapy and they gave it to some guy just because he stood in a field? pathetic choice by the paper.
