The legislative changes we sought for NAS support have officially been signed into law. This progress represents the collective effort of everyone who recognized the urgency of this crisis and chose to speak up. We must now remain diligent to ensure these resources reach the families who need them most.

I'm taking The Fight for NAS to the House of Representatives in Washington D.C. October 2015. Babies born addicted to opiates spend anywhere from 10 to 30 plus days receiving treatment. My fight is to advocate for all mothers get into therapy at the first sign that the baby shows of Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS). Please join with me as a constituent of Indiana to help combat this epidemic. ONE baby a WEEK is born in Bloomington Hospital. With the opiate addiction on the rise, one in every nine babies are born with NAS. These babies are being sent home with mothers every day. Let's all join together as constituents of Indiana to help advocate The Fight for NAS that would allow each baby the chance for a healthy mother.

Through the years , I have worked with children that suffered from these circumstances. Bless you for giving them a voice.
Let's first protect the children born with neonatal addiction from their Mother. Offer the Mother addiction treatment and if she does not comply, that is her choice.
I support all mothers whose babies are born addicted receive substance treatment.
I am a recovering addict and alcoholic who is now clean and there HAS to be more ways for people to seek professional help without costing $10,000 because these addicts don't have this kind of money usually but their lives matter just as much
Amen!! Needs desperate help !! I know a girl riggt now 6 months pregnant and an IV drug user

I support these women getting therapy, however it still takes their desire for recovery and a support network for the therapy to work.
