On this, Ron Saunders’ 86th birthday, I am delighted to join the growing chorus of voices on this proposal. All the better if it could be organised within his lifetime.
It’s because Villa bit so hard into mighty Liverpool’s domination of the time, that Ron really deserves more recognition for our early 80s achievements.
