It would be fair the Grand-Parents to be given a chance. If ,for some reason they fail, then Megan will be send to the Social Services anyway but what if they do not fail?! It would be a tragidy for Mehan to be deprived from such an opportunity.. The Social Services will be waiting anyway....So why not give a chance to the Grand-Parents to show their love to their grand-daughter for her own good???
