I was reading through the comments again and honestly some of the things people are going through just stay with you all day long. It is wild how this started as just a thought I had while drinking coffee and now it feels like I am carrying something much bigger than myself but I am not stopping because the silence from the capitol is just too loud to ignore.

I honestly cannot believe how fast this is moving right now and it makes me feel like maybe things are actually going to change for once. Seeing the names piling up is just overwhelming in the best way because I really worried nobody would care about this outside of my own kitchen table.

My girlfriend and I have been together for 8 years and its time we get the same rights as everyone else.
LOVE IS LOVE. plain and simple.
we just want our relationship to be treated like my brothers marriage. no more second class stuff.
It hurts that our state still thinks we dont deserve the same legal protections as our neighbors.
I want to be able to marry my Partner, and be recognized as his husband in every sense of the way.
I would love for my daddy to be able to walk me down the isle someday.

I hope my future wife and I can get married here in colorado soon without having to go out of state.
