The Resignation of Director Polonis

Really don’t need a weirdo conspiracy theorist distracting from the needs of the community.

You are a public figure. Who represents the entire community. And as such you are held to a standard, making derogatory comments on a social website is not acceptable. And the fact that you think it was ok because it was on a conservative site. Shows even more that you should not be representing us.

Agree that code of conduct was breached. Don’t need intolerant people on the board. We are ALL humans regardless of our beliefs and should be treated with respect not preached to.

Please remove Polonis immediately. Doxxing is a violation of privacy rights, and he does not belong on the board.

I do not want to be represented by someone who uses their religion as a mask for hatred.

No one like this should be making decisions for our community.

Completely inappropriate and unacceptable behavior for someone who is representing the interests of our community. Time to resign or be removed.

Even if we set aside the divisive religious and homophobic views expressed by Mr. Polonis, the fact that he broke the confidentiality clauses clearly set forth in the bylaws by publishing a resident's private communication to the board, including their name and address, should be immediate grounds for termination of his position. Above all else, trust in our board is paramount.

Hate speech and targeting community members does not create an inclusive or safe community, which I believe is what we want at Lake Monticello.

Stop the spread of hate

You can feel the hate in his posts on social media. My husband and I live in this community and a member of the Board must represent all people in our community. Director Polonis. Clearly does not represent everyone and should be removed.

This kind of mindset and retaliation is not acceptable at any level. The fact that Don is so narrow minded is astonishing for an elected official. Please do us a favor and keep your ignorant self away from our community.

This type of behavior is unbecoming of a board representative and should not be tolerated!

Polonis must leave LMOA immediately. If he doesn't resign, then the Board must terminate his board membership and role immediately due to LMOA rule violations. He is vile & disgusting and anyone promoting that kind of hate and lies damages humanity, our members, and our community. It's makes me embarrassed to be an owner here.

All people deserve to feel safe and welcome in their community. I do not want to be represented by a man whose rhetoric expresses hate for other people and uses religion to justify his irrational opinions. He needs to resign immediately. Or be removed from the Board for violating the ByLaws.

Totally unacceptable for a representative of the community he's supposed to serve.
