Paul Echols has been in maximum security prison for 17 years , this brother is blind and paralyzed, he's not allowed to learn braille or given any therapy. The only thing keeping him alive is the visits he receives from his family. Because of his inactive state he has suffered recurring bouts of respiratory illness, the prison doctors have stated that there is nothing more that can be done for him. How is this cost effective for the taxpayers to keep him in this inhumane condition, he is not a threat to himself or others , either release him to a minimal security facility or send him home.
