Opposing both coup attempt and the clear and loud footsteps of totalitarianism in Turkey. Stop the witch hunt, intellectual deportations and character assignations in Turkey. Uphold rule of law and human rights.

I read articles by Turkish academics regularly because excellent research on science education is done there. Turkey should be proud of these people nit scapegoating them.

I oppose the idea of a coup as was attempted. But I also oppose the repression that is being instigated against many. Restore Human rights!

It is critical that education and educators are free to work and discuss all angles of any discipline or controversy.

Democracy demands academic freedom as well as dissent. It is a weak democracy and government that purges the opposition and stifles dissent.

it is just an outrage to get rid of academics to suit the taste of an undemocratic califfate!

This is how Chairman Mao deprived his country of its best and brightest for a generation, during the Cultural Revolution. No EU membership for Erdogan unless he reverses this illegal policy immediately!
