Rietspruit concern Residents

We want Rietspruit mining closure project to stop with immediately effect.

The mine is violeting our right and they didn't consult with us as affected residents, the mine project affect our health and well being.

We don't know their social development plan or how will community benefit from this project. We don't know how long this project will take.

Community demand mine to pay all bill that community owes at government. We need 50% SME and 80% Employment. We demand mine to fix our road and build library for residents of Rietspruit before they start their project. One of our community member was attacked in a meeting with South 32 Rietspruit mine(Rejoice and Phillip)we present .

We want to know what action or punishment was taken against the person who assault Jacob in a meeting. And the same person who assaulted Jacob was awarded a tender in South 32. So it means Phillip and Rejoice are in a same whatsapp group with the person who assaulted our member Jacob.

Everyone is equal before the law and has the right to equal protection and benefit of the law.

Even if the person who attacked Jacob was awarded a tender before the matter. But after assault our member the contract was supposed to be dismissed with immediately effects.
