1. Restore the natural environment of, and beautify Princess Vlei and surrounding area2. Create a safe haven away from the 'concrete jungle' for residents and visitors to enjoy
3. Provide areas of interest for environment studies
4. Provide hands on training courses on fynbos planting, identification and mangement for marginalised people
5. Engage in activities and functions that build a sense of community in the surrounding area
6. Make public the history of the area and enchance the environmental and socio political heritage of Princess Vlei
7. Bring people back to enjoy the Vlei
8. Establish a nursery in the vicinity to propagate fynbos plants grown around the Vlei, for members of the public
9. Establish a vital link to the Acid Plain Fynbos Project (Source to Sea Project)
