I have requested a formal meeting with the office of the Borough President to address the rejection of this proposal. Our documentation is being prepared to challenge the recent administrative opposition regarding the site plans. Ridiculous that they would just get rid of her like that. She belongs in Rockaway and everyone knows it. Stop the nonsense and put her back.
so sad she is gone. my kids loved her so much when we went down to the shore. please bring her back where she belongs.
Seriously? She was part of the neighborhood for as long as I can remember. Why is one person making the call for the whole community?
I grew up seeing that whale. It makes no sense to move it now. Give us our whale back!

Whalemina is literally the heart of the beach. Bringing her back is common sense. Leave the politics out of it and let her come home.
