We want the creation of the Noble Citizen's award to individuals who, with their tenacity and bravery, have made an outstanding contribution to services in the field of Journalism in times of crisis, delivering honest, reliable and most important, truthful accounts of the situation from the place where news are generated, either war zones, locations affected by human or natural disasters or where the misery and anguish of local people are the concern of the public opinion at large. The work of these extremely fearless journalists can dramatically change the perception of a situation of crisis anywhere in the World by providing us with updated, in-situ information using the social media networks as a platform for news coverage of what is actually happening at the time of reporting. We believe this technology has revolutionised the way we see the world. For good or for evil and whether we like it or not, humankind has felt it is part of the process and is witness of situation unfolding. Harry Fear has shown a remarkable example of integrity and bravery in his field by reporting day and night, using conventional social media networks and video links to keep the public engaged with honest and reliable news of the events in Gaza since the escalation mounted this November 2012. For this, we are grateful to him. A noble young man , deserves recognition from all of us who have been following him.Despite the harsh conditions on site, the lack of sleep ,the tedious waiting and the uncertainty of living another day to tell the story, he stays on and does not give up.We want to nominate him for this award, as true witnesses of his courage. We were there, We saw it, we heard it.

Watching Harry continue to report from the ground despite the constant danger reminds me why this recognition is so vital. I am reading through every message you leave here and your accounts of his impact on your understanding of these events are deeply moving.

Watching this movement grow reminds me how deeply we all value the truth that Harry risked his life to document. I never imagined so many people would join me in demanding this recognition for his integrity under fire.
