I have been following this story and my heart sank when I found out he had died. Then to find out he froze to death just broke my heart!! My prayers go out to the family during this tragic life experience. I am so happy he is running with the Angels now and has lord Jesus looking after him until his family return to him. I hope the park will be built in his honor. God Bless this child and his family!

This is so sad. My heart goes out to the family, friends, and all the people involved in the search as well as the rset of the world that this ltitle man has deeply touched. I don't understand and may never understand a senseless tragedy on such an innocent young soul such as this and it tears at my heartstrings constantly, especially as I look at my own 2 year old grandson and I can't imagine him spending a night outside alone in the cold darkness. I don't care what kind of weather it was, I would be out there too, he would not be in those woods alone cause even if the search was called off, this nana and pawpaw along with mom and dad would still be scouring the woods. If everyone else wanted to turn back we would understand but that would not be an option for us because if it's too cold for us to be out there to look then it's definitely too cold for him to be out there alone. I can put on extra jackets and pack a thermos of coffee. He cant. He's depending on me. With that said, I am not trying to lay blame on anybody here but I do feel the need to express that I don't understand how adults can call off a search for a baby because the adults might get too cold. God bless all who searched and the family as well as the rest of us who wear our hearts on our sleeves for this sweet Lil angel. We let him down once, the least we can do is name a portion of the highway after him, lest we never forget.
