electives should be about following your interests not just checking a box to fulfill hours. this is really unfair to the seniors.

As a parent of a student who spends most waking hours doing school-related work, I feel it's wrong to take away what little free time is left. It appears that the entire student body is being forced to pay for the sins of those who abuse the 'free period' privilege. I hope you'll consider dropping the new policy, or at the very least amending it to the suggestions proposed in this petition.
