I want to do this with my church youth group:
Buy a bunch of nerf guns and bow&arrow and nerf weapons. Have them in the Pavillion like a cornucopia. Each person playing has a sash with 3 colored ribbons on it, thats thier 'lives' a headshot (Only guns with the rubber darts can get a headshot for safety reasons) claims all 3 ribbons. A chest or stomach shot gets 2 ribbons and a anywhere else gets one. Sponsors can be people watching the game who buy lives and weapons and ammo with real money and the collected money goes to the church.

Hey! This sounds like a pretty cool idea. $1,000 dollars definitely ain't too much, so you guys may also be able to do little fundraisers for it! Or, even get some people to pay to watch/play. (like, $1 to watch, $2 to play.) But anyway, sounds really fun! Hope you guys can get it!
Seems like this is a cool idea. You have a mighty goal. Hope you reach it!
This is definitely something I think'd help a lot and I think many people, kids and grown-ups alike, would enjoy it as well! :3
