NHS England had carried out a needs assessment where they found that the dental decay rates in Hillingdon are amongst the worst in London and there has been a high demand for NHS Dental Services in the Harefield area since the previous provider vacated the premises at 14A Northwood Road, Harefield in March/April 2011.

NHS England would like to open a NHS Dental practice in Harefield. We had located a suitable site at 12A Northwood Road and applied for change of use (residential to Dental) in September 2015. We have had to overcome various hurdles, mainly around the parking provision which we have addressed in our application.

We can assure you that we are working very closely with NHS England an have the communities interest at the core of our NHS practice. We have been informed that there has been a recent petition by approx 20 people (many of which are within the same households) to object to the opening of an NHS Dental Practice on Northwood Road. Our desired outcome of this petition is to approve the change of use to accommodate the an NHS Dental Practice on Northwood Road.

We need as many people as possible to sign this petition to show that this location is suited for an NHS Dentist and that this service is needed for the local community!
