Did the board consider making a teacher available for a semester at each school to eliminate the expense of transporting Southern kids daily and having them lose a class period for travel daily?

There is nothing that will benefit students in this proposal. It will only limit their choices and add more frustration to their lives.

This is not fair to the southern high students. Hire some teachers.

Both schools should offer both of these courses at the schools. I think our kids need these classes

These are literally the most important life skills. Doing this to my high school where I spent four life saving years in foods class with Chef is a disgrace

As a mother that has a daughter that is a student at southern and her career path is food's. I am very unhappy about this. Not fair to the students or parents. That is to far for us to travel in the unsafe winter months.

Our kids need these classes. They give hands on skills that are used daily throughout their entire lives.

This could have been my child, who almost considered culinary. This is an AWFUL solution, and needs to be changed. Surely you can find another auto teacher SOMEWHERE. Someone out there wants that job!
