Our aim is to be able to get life skills back into schools so puplis can learn basic life skills to get on in life. We are hoping that this petition will help us achieve our desired target. The life skills that we are hoping to bring back are basic cooking skills and ironing. Also for young people to be able to successfully fill out CV's and any application forms in the future. This will help them stand a better chance of living and being more independant when they're older. Thank you!

Seeing this volume of interest is heavy but it confirms that I am not the only one exhausted by the current gap in our education system. The momentum is real and it keeps me moving forward even when the bureaucracy feels immovable.

Kids these days cant even cook a basic meal or iron a shirt for an interview. This is so needed in schools.
YES. Schools focus way too much on testing and not enough on actual real world stuff. My nephew is 17 and has no idea how to fill out a job application. It's embarrassing.
