I am signing this petition to represent All bars, club and social gatherings that take place in my Orangeburg community. The reason for the county to want to close the business at 2am due to excessive violence that occurs after 2am until 5am. However being a member of The locals pub and coworker of that business I can vouch to say that the owner Eric Clark go over and beyond to protect the customers and workers. Furthermore no major or excessive violence has happened at The Locals Pub in a few years and when incidents do occur its across the street in the parking lot. However indiviuals get into disputes not only at bars and clubs violence is going on all over this county. At the end of the day why should adults be stricted to the limit time they can enjoy their social living.
