We, as an AP Literature student body, respectfully and humbly ask that Mr. Hill cancel or shorten the essay due January the 17th. Many of us, the students, have much studying to do this week and , and the added stress of perfecting a 5-7 page essay by tomorrow can and will hinder our efforts to study for AP Calculus, AP Statistics, AP Government, AP Physics and other difficult classes. We, the students, also recognize that Mr. Hill has a large amount of work to grade already, and suggest that this essay is an unnecessary extra burden on him as well. As neither party desires to deal with creating or analyzing such a lengthy document, and since that document has the potential to be very poorly written due to the stresses in the students' lives (and therefore very unpleasant to read), we modestly ask that it may be cancelled or, at the very least, shortened.
