The local council cannot ignore this momentum anymore. The people of Langley Park are clearly demanding that our history be honored and I am ready to force these bureaucrats to pay attention.

my grandad worked down that pit so this is long overdue
hope we get enough money for a decent statue, the old miners deserve to be remembered
