Whilst I am pro LGBTQ+ as a gay man, Jess has not helped this issue and she has been very divisive. She may have actually inflamed things to a point where there can be no discussion and dialogue. LGBTQ+ teachings must happen, but we also need to be sympathetic and understanding of all backgrounds - Muslim, Christian, Jewish etc. It's not a case of 'the gays must win' because if there is no compromise then nobody wins. LGBTQ+ needs to give and so do others.
