As newcomers in Penamacor we are pleased to join other expats, particularly anglo-saxon, in club activities. We live on the road from Penamacor and Aldeia do Bispo, making your suggested meeting place convenient to us. We shall be in Portugal on a part time basis; and shall miss some of the scheduled events. However, we plan to be active when we are in the area.

Wonderful idea! Integration between different cultures always leads to enrichment and better understanding. Each culture brings its own unique gifts to the world and sharing them can only bring people closer together. Please support this enterprise.

I was involved for years with a similar thing in Brighton and am very excited by the idea! I´d love to prepare vegan food and low cost English classes (I´m a TEFL teacher). What about a library/reading room?
