this is among one of the many traditions at A&M and it needs to stay that way. Having a president among the students is what brings them closer together.

It's not living in the past, it's keeping the tradition alive.

If you don't know the traditions, don't take the position.

There is no logical reason as to why the President's House cannot continue to be the place of residence for the University President. Being accessible to students and living in proximity with the student body will make the President of Texas A&M more sympathetic to student concerns.

A&M is growing, and we have to do everything we can to preserve the family-feel, tight-knit community. Not allowing the president to live on campus will be a huge detriment to campus spirit.

We are a growing university that needs to adapt. However, by removing the president, he becomes less in touch with the values that make us who we are: the students and the Aggie culture. Keep the president's house the way it has been for years.

The close proximity of the president to the student body is a great asset. A&M is a university tasked with teaching students. Not a business. Stop making stupid decisions based on an endless pursuit of wining and dining big donors.

Our Presidents want to be here to help the students, and the best they can do that is by being located on campus.

Please quit everything that students care about for the sake of a couple bucks.
