I work across the street at the barbershop.. and with all the changes going on with the businesses in Manchester.. particularly that stretch of Manchester, it would be a shame not to have a place like The Fruit Stand in our community.

We need to be able to give local businesses the opportunity to Thrive in our city. Fruit Stand has been an amazing family business to support. I love the sign, I think it is tasteful and adds character and charm to Manchester Road.

Manchester is not playing fair. I drive Manchester weekly and I see the New Suntrup Signage, Culvers Fast Food, all the crappy little old building on the South side and I see so many FOR LEASE Large signs....your clientele is slipping and I would think you would want to keep the businesses you have in place. Tax Dollars and you are in need of them from what I see in your plaza's and vacant store fronts. I am seeing Old School on your website, board and attorney. (Nepotism has gone on too long with Mr. Gunn). Do we need a state audit?

Work with this business to put up an acceptable sign. Don't lose another business in Manchester. You already have many empty retail spots

Government should assist small businesses - not make their lives more difficult. A simple drive up and down Manchester demonstrates that MANY other businesses in Manchester have signage. Please don't single out The Fruit Stand.

Keep the sign! I just moved here a little more than a year ago and never would have stopped at The Fruit Stand if I didn't see the sign. It made me stop and become a continuous shopper.

Manchester resident. Confused on why this establishment isn't allowed signage and other businesses are. The Kroenke group has a sign up advertising a vacancy!!! Kroenke!!! My favorite part of Manchester is the small town, local business feel. Please reconsider so we don't lose this business.

There's no reason for not allowing them this sign. Culver's has an electronic sign, Joey B's had a wooden sign, the place across the street is overflowing with plants, and The Fruit Stand can't have their chalkboard-type sign? What's wrong with you people?

I liked the sign. I knew what was on sale and I liked how it gave a hometown feel
