Manchester is a unique city with a lot of it's history preserved in the buildings along Manchester Rd. That cute sign fit in to the City and what the city stands for. I believe there are FAR more things for the City to worry about than a sign that fits what the Fruit Stand is - a great neighborhood store to go to for fresh produce from a friendly environment! KEEP THE SIGN it fits in!!!!!

I love the sign and the authentic feel it gives to a fruit stand. So many other signs around that are tacky, it makes no sense.

Surely the city of Manchester can work with their small businesses. They don't ask for TIF money and they make a city into a community. Even if you don't love the original sign, give them a working option!
