This isn't rocket science folks. Sustainable waste management isn't usually a technical problem, it is an administrative and budgetary problem. The public administrators of SXM need to step and solve this problem, for everybody's sake. It's their job.

Because when the wind changes we are affected on the French side as well. 1 people 1 island. It's all our problem.

I have owned a timeshare in Phillipsburg since 1985. The burning dump was a constant irritant for the first decade but began to subside over the years. I am disheartened to see it is burning so hard now. Please take some immediate action to stop the release of this toxic smoke, to stop further dumping there and to find a permanent solution to the handling of waste in SXM. The economy of the island is in peril!

Not a resident as of today but hope to be in the near future. My concern is for this beautiful island. Don't let it be spoiled any more than it has already been spoiled.

I don't care who anyone want to blame. Fix the issue at hand before the damn thing blow up like a volcano.
