In honor of my great grandfather, John Nesser

My grandfather, George (Hoppy) Theodore Hopkins played on this team in 1921. He was a nephew of the Nesser Brothers.

My grandparents were John Schneider, and Rose Nesser.

I am a grandson of Frank Nesser now living in Kentucky. I fully agree with my cousin Patricia Huff and the many other Nesser descendants who've signed this petition!

I am the granddaughter of George Theodore Hopkins (Ted) who also played on The Columbus Panhandles Football Team along with his Uncles (the Nesser Brothers). The Columbus Panhandles Football Team is in the NFL Hall of Fame along with their coach Joe Carr who helped build the NFL as president. All the players worked in the Panhandle yards of the Pennsylvania Railroad in Columbus, Ohio. They played in the very first NFL game against Dayton. Their recognition is LONG overdo.

Great Granddaughter of John Nesser, the oldest of the 12 Nesser children. Recognizing the Famous Nesser Brothers and The Columbus Panhandles is certainly overdue.

I am daughter of George Theodore Hopkins (Ted) who also played on the team with his uncle's the Nesser Brothers. Ted's morher, Anna Katherine Nesser Hopkins, is sister of the famous brothers. Anna's husband, Otto Franklin Hopkins, played on the Pan -handles team in the early 1920's also.
