The reach of this petition has hit a threshold that allows me to move forward with a formal request to the museum board. I am currently drafting the submission package and will confirm when the meeting with the induction committee is scheduled.

Just heard these guys in Hokitika, first time we've heard them live for years, brilliant as always, the oldies and the new ones, great idea to get them into the Hall of Fame !!!
an iconic band that embodies the country music spirit of the WestCoast as well as the rest of NewZealand in the lyrics and storys of their music as well as the pure joy their albums have brought to Kiwis over the years
Another vote from an old friend ,these guys were a major part of my misspent youth , first great band I ever heard and loved !
The members of the Coal Rangers are all musician Legends in their own rights, each with exceptional musicianship skills, and have steadfastly supported the Christchurch's musician communities throughout the earthquakes in an effort to 'keep music alive' for affected communities throughout disaster. I totally support their being inducted into the hands of fame in Gore 2018.
These Coal rangers are simply the best and are NZ'S "Eagles". They have given me many hours of dancing and joy. Thankyou guys!! Love you

The Coalrangers are a part of the very fabric of what NZ music is about - have been for yonks - it's recognition time .....surely!
