What about the chemicals used by pest control companies in their maintenance programs for homeowners? Are these also something to be concerned about too?

We need to use safe organic methods. There is too much in the news that points to problem with chemical safety approval methods. A chemical approved for use on grains Round Up has been deemed by the WHO as a definite carcinagen. We have to safe alternative's.

We need to look at the big picture, not just at short-term convenience. The fewer of these chemicals we use, the better for the future of our children.

Less poison in the ocean is always good.
We can get all the cities that empty into the San Juan Creek to do the same thing and maybe Doheny won't be the most polluted beach in the state anymore.

I am shocked that San Clemente is in the dark ages on this subject.
Not sure who is ultimately responsible but it needs to change now!!!!

Yes, let's do it the old fashioned way...weed by hand, use natural remedies and employ mulch. then you will have an environment that is safe for you, your kids/grandbabies and pets!
