It’s 2018 and we still haven’t figured out a “safe” way to rid of weeds. I’m opposed to using chemicals as a deterrent. We know the devastating effect it has on human and wildlife and it’s still used??? Please vote yes to eliminate the use of these chemicals.

We have so many friends that have either lost or their kids are fighting cancer in their teenage years. There has to be a connection. Please stop using!

In our neighborhood, where we walk our dogs along the sidewalk, the association sprays weed killer on the bottom of the slopes and between the sidewalk squares. These herbicides are known to cause cancer. It forces us to walk in another neighborhood, just to avoid it.
Our family supports stopping the use of toxic pesticides and to instead employ natural methods (lady bugs, lace wings, old fashion weeding) to control landscaping problems. There are worse things than a few pests and weeds in our environment.
