Final supporters
The checker boards on the University of Kentucky athletic uniforms have to go. Over the last few years, fans of the University have continuously complained about the checker board design that are on the uniforms.
Current and former players have also mentioned that they do not like them either. Athletic director Mitch Barnhart, whom overall is a great AD, has become numb to the complains and insists that fans and players like them. Lets let him know that we do NOT like them, and they need to go!

I have been hearing from so many of you who are just as frustrated as I am by these uniforms. It is clear that the current look does not reflect the pride we feel for our legacy. I am looking into the best ways to get this feedback directly in front of the athletic department because they cannot ignore our disappointment forever.

Seeing this momentum ignite makes me believe we might actually see these uniforms retired for good. It proves that what the players and fans feel truly matters more than design choices made in a boardroom.

Ugliest uniforms I have ever seen and besides this is basketball not a horse race
I am okay with subtle checkers like different shades of blue...see the court and end zones. The full on checkerboards need to go. Kentucky needs an old school but classic remake for basketball.
This ain't Tennessee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These must go! Fans nor the players like them!
Please get rid of!
They have to go. Bring back any old styles or something else.

I just wish we didn’t make these elite basketball players have to wear the checkerboard pattern if they think it’s lame. Can we not make exceptions so that basketball can be the gold standard?
