Hello my name is Bryanna Saliba and I am a 31year old with Cerebral Palsy along with my fraternal twin brother Daniel at Women's College Hospital in Toronto Ontario where I grew up in. We both diagnosed at birth with the condition. It isanon-cognitive group of disorder's affectinga person's ability to walk talk vision which could rangemild-severe cases. Fortunately for me and my brother our parent's never gave up on us and gave us the best care possible. It took me longer to achieve then most but I did it. During mylaterelementary school day's were kind of lonesomedue to the fact I did not haveas much of a social life or much inclusionlike most kid's.

Butthankfully after meeting my Big Sister and entering high school all of that changed for me. I was actively involved as Vice President in The Crime Stoppers Club andhave been involved in Student Council. Since then I have won several award's The Yes I Can Awardfor never giving up & The Writing Partnership Award coming insecond place for writing about my Big Sister through The Big Sister's of Peel Organization and her amazing impact in my life.

In 2002 my family decided to move back to their homeland Gozo the sister island of Malta so that we could have a better life through local support systems.I am now The Promotions Officer for a local organization called A.F.D.A (Ability For Disability Association) that help's individual's with disabilitiesprovide equipmentex wheelchairs walkers etc. a better quality of life. We are in the process of starting community living on our island and need your tremendous support through donation no matter how big or small just go our website at www.afdagozomalta.orga new website isbeing designed no detail'sto report as of yet butwill eventually be activated if interested.

Today asI write my petition the one reason I have for writing thispetition to help raise awareness to parents with kid's withCP. and adult's is never give up on life and to encourage your child to be as independent possibleandto create opportunitiesand achieve our dream's as much as possible in every aspect of life.

I leave you now with a quote from Audrey Hepburn " Nothing is impossible the word itself say's I'm possible.
