Mrs. Lass was a legend at Jackman. A myth before I went there. Hearing about how great she was and made people spend every moment they could have with her. Then I came there in 97-99 and felt her glory for myself. I am regretful that I didn’t get the chance to come see her one last time. This woman was Jackman. I think naming the gym after her is the right thing to do. God bless mrs Ladd

Carrie was such an amazing person. As a young teacher, I learned so much from her as my colleague. She had a heart and passion not just for her subject, but for the young people she lovingly taught. Her name should live on in the place where she touched so many lives.

She was one of the best PE teachers ever and she did things for students beyond what is expected of any teacher.

Ms. Ladd was the best PE teacher ever... The only one from Jr. High and High School that I can even remember. Had her in 1995 - 1996 school year. Thank you for being such a great teacher.

I attended Jackman back in 2000-2002, & Ms. Ladd was my favorite teacher. She was the reason I made friends. She’s the reason I stayed there. No other teacher made me feel important like she did! She is missed!
