The Broke Ballers community car show, is a private enterprise based in Lake Elsinore Ca. We are attempting to have a community car show at Mc Vickers Park on Lake Street / Grand. All proceeds will go the The Animal Friends Of the Valley. At this point in the process, Lake Elsinore City Hall has been less than helpful in working with us, to secure the appropriate permits, and fee waivers. As a private entity, run by an individual (Brian Baxter), it is not possible to come up with the estimated $20,000.00 in costs and fees proposed by the City Manager for this one day event, with no alcohol sales, free to the public, with such sponsors as The United States Marine Corp, Staples, Albertsons, and Guitar Center. I (Brian Baxter) feel this is not an appropriate manner to deal with a charitable organization. I plan on presenting my case, and this petition to the Lake Elsinore City Council as soon as possible. Your signature will go along way to proving, the community wants events like this to be provided to the Public at large on a regular basis. Thank you very much for your time and support.
