My three kids were very well cared for at this nursery before it closed and we're sad to have to change childcare, they still talk about the nursery like they are still there. The village is left without a nursery that provided before and after school care. I can't see how the new owners are capable of running the nursery as there are so many basic things they failed to do on purchasing the nursery with the previous owner there, they made things very difficult for everyone. Everyone has suffered here.

These people need to be investigated and appropriate action taken to ensure they are not in it just for the money. Employing apprentices is not the way to ensure the safeguarding of children or babies.

I work in the childcare sector visiting settings around the country (not as an Inspector!), and see a whole range of standards and level of care. Thankfully the majority in the childcare business place the emphasis on childcare, but there are a few who prioritise the business side of things and see the little people as cash pots. From the comments so far I certainly wouldn't be sending my little boy there. I would urge any staff or parents who have witnessed the incidents and behaviour to document everything, should things progress any further.

I know this was run before as a family business - mother employed her 2 daughters free child care for their kids.
I also heard bad things about the previous owners.
Yes fleckney does need a good caring nursery I agree I feel for the kids

My children no longer need this facility but with i perish the thought of other youngsters being cared for by inexperienced, unprofessional, dishonest carers. Our primary school and other pre school facilities are first class, let's not ruin this!!

I'd heard nothing but good things about this nursery until the new owners took over. As a community we need our local amenities and with fleckney having an Outstanding primary school it is essential that we have Outstanding Nursery's to help keep that standard. I hope I'm wrong but it seem's the new owners simply don't have the knowledge or pride to represent our community in the way it should do.

I no longer have small children needing this service but having lived in The village all of my life feel I have the right to comment. It is an outrage that in this day and age people who ignore rules and regulations in regards to caring for others are given second chances. Wether this petion will have any effect I have no idea but coming into our village and acting this way will be remembered by many people. Shot theirselves in the foot I'm thinking !!!!

Having worked at this nursery and with Anna and the girls for almost 10 years this is very sad to hear. These new owners need removing to ensure this lovely nursery can reopen and get back to being the fab place it once was

The most precious thing in our lives are our children. You want to go to work knowing they will be provided the best care, watched 100% and see a smile on your son or daughters faces when you collect them in the evening. But most of all you want to hear your children say 'I can't wait to go to nursery tomorrow' If the new owners can't look after the children or staff then they don't deserve our business. The parents of Fleckney and surrounding areas should not be fooled into believing the new owners are capable of looking after your children as from what I've heard, they aren't even capable of looking after animals let alone our little ones.

Really disapointed by the way us parents, our children and the staff have been treated since the new owners have taken ownership of blossom tree nursery. really worried by the comnents and experiences other parents have made concerning kalpana's ability to run a safe and secure nursery. Really sad at the loss of our villages nursery.

Absolute disgrace! It is so annoying how people like this can open up a nursery and 'care' for young children! Should be a criminal offence!!!

Although I didn't have a child at the nursery, I had friends that did and have seen the disruption that all this has caused both the children and adults

Very disappointed that we have lost our age nursery which catered for all under 5's and older children before and after school. Leaves a real gap in provisions locally. I have zero confidence in the new owners and am particularly unimpressed with the new manager's communication skills and attitude to parents and children.

Although my son did not attend Blossom Tree the things I have heard worry me and I know of many parents struggling since the closure. New owners are needed and ones that care about children not just £££
