The big scam-overpriced perfumes!
Perfume should be about feeling good, not going broke. Today, big brands are charging outrageous prices for something that costs just a few dollars to make.
Take Jean Paul Gaultier perfumes, for example. A 100ml bottle of “Le Male” or “Classique” costs $80 to $140 in stores — but it only costs about $3 to $10 to produce. That includes the fragrance, alcohol, bottle, and packaging. The rest of the price? You’re paying for brand hype, ads, and profit.
This kind of pricing is unfair. Everyone should have access to quality fragrance without being tricked by fake luxury prices. We’re asking perfume companies to:
1. Be transparent about how much their products cost to make.
2. Offer more affordable options without sacrificing quality.
3. Stop inflating prices just for the brand name.
Sign this petition if you believe perfume should be affordable, honest, and accessible — not a scam wrapped in a fancy bottle.
