Please please stop killing our wildlife. I've lived in Ashland my entire life and have lived with these bears. They do not hurt anyone and it's lazy to kill them. Do better by them please.

We've encroached on wild territory that was "home" to these bears. PLEASE tranquilize, transport and release these bears. Don't kill them!!!

Humans need to change their habits not kill bears or any wildlife. Deal with the root not the wound. Stop feeding them. Lock your garbage.

We need to coexist with wildlife. We are in their territory and need to act responsible and not invite and attract wild life. We need mandatory bear safe containers for residential and commercial across Ashland. Learn from Colorado, Lake Tahoe and other communities that are doing it better Ashland!!!

There are other ways to address bears in residential areas. Please hire a professional who can capture and relocate these beings.

The public needs to be EDUCATED and expected to take measures to not attract wildlife. NO bird feeders, bear-proof compost and trash bins, ETC! Look to Colorado wildlife policies. People need to learn to LIVE WITH wildlife or MOVE elsewhere!

Part of the beauty and part of the deal with living in Ashland, Oregon is that we get to see wildlife and, share their home. Wildlife from deer to bear, to wild turkeys have the right for safe harbour near their habitat. We need investments in bear safe containers across Ashland and improved education on wildlife. We can and should reduce the likelyhood wildlife will have a fatal encounter with humans. It's our responsibility to change our behavior to improve the outcome because wildlife are part of the deal when you live in Ashland, we are in their habitat and home; not the other way around.
