PLEDGE TO MAKE EVERY PLACE A SAFE SPACE By joining The Band, I recognize that becoming an ally is a detailed process, and I pledge to start this process by watching my language. I will respect the LGBTQ community in my language choices and promise to interrupt and educate others who make homophobic or offensive statements. I will recognize and learn from my mistakes and misconceptions about LGBTQ issues, and I will utilize the resources of The Band Together campaign as well as those existing on campus to further educate myself about the LGBTQ community on my campus.
