I wouldn't have made it though high school without this amazing man. He created a safe and fun space for everyone, and encouraged creativity like no one else! ❤️

Mr Zuniga wasn’t my teacher but he was for a long my friends. Never heard a bad comment about him. He was very humble, nice and cool! May he rest in peace! Much love to His family ❤️

I had the pleasure of taking Mr.Z’s class almost every year and every semester.
Without a doubt in my mind he was the best there was
A teacher, a leader and for the better part a person whom cared about his students and the very people and communities around him. He always had a great attitude and would share with me almost everything about his life. He told me what was right and what was wrong, I would not be this far in life if it wasn’t for him.
This is a tragedy for me, the day we lost him not only did I lose a teacher, friend, someone that I wanted to come back to and show the results of his hard work and that his words and actions really did reach someone.
I know this is a long comment but I could go on and on about how great he was
I wasn’t able to attend any of the services but at the very least he deserves his name on the Del valle isd buildings.
He was / is the best and I’ll miss him very dearly.

The best teacher ever. A great guide and mentor for many. He changed my life and many others. He deserves to be remembered and credited for the work he put into the many programs DVHS offers. His name and work deserve to be remembered, the school and the community owe it to him
