Without my daughter my husband and I would be homeless. My mother will be homeless in six months because she has spent her savings paying rent. We don't have room for her and can't have her fur baby at this apartment.

Families used to care for their senior members just a generation ago. Our culture today marginalizes them to the curb, literally. I am a senior who struggles to survive too. This law will provide the boost so many need to obtain basic housing. "Come on People now, smile on your brother. "

If a senior receives and extra $18.00 they lose $150.00 or more. Their income has no cost of living increase but lots of decreases. We must protect their right to affordable safe housing.

Our Seniors deserve our help & assistance- they are our families & need to be treated with respect & loving care. Why is it that is so many countries are treated as treasure & ours are treated as trash? Cruel & unfair

Hopefully this will be legislation that will finally address the needs of seniors trying to exist on their poverty level Social Security incomes.

Often Robert has come to the aid of his senior neighbors who call upon him for help--often in the middle of the night. He has rushed them to the hospital, provided meals, walked their dogs and has run errands when they are unable to leave their homes. He speaks to the homeless and gives them food, clothing and a kind word. His kind heart and compassion has touched many. Let us strive to follow his example and do the same. Please help Robert in his quest to help seniors and the homeless by passing this petition on to others. May God bless you for doing so.

It's not right that we as seniors who have worked hard and contributed have such a hard time getting by on social security. Many seniors have no place to go and many are veterans who are living on the street now.

Thank you Robert for your many months of hard work on The American Seniors Act, and your love and compassion for seniors and homeless seniors. I live in a Mobilehome Park and many of our seniors are barely making ends meet on their social security pension. May God bless this legislation and may it flourish and please God.. blessings...
