Everyday, somewhere, a suicide occurs. Bullying is one of the leading causes of suicide. Too many teens have been bullied to the point where they hate themselves and their lives. This petition is honor of Amanda Cummings, a 15 year old girl from Staten Island. She was bullied most of her life, it got to be too much. She took her own life, leaving her family and friends with broken hearts. However, the bullies who tormented Amanda (even with evidence of what they did) were free to go because there are no laws against bullying in New York State and many other places as well.
