We need an airshow in Lincoln, I live in Derby and Lincoln is the nearest one to attend and I've been coming to Waddington for the past 7 years.

It would be great to see the international air show at Scampton or connigsby, keeping the airshow in bomber county would be awesome.

It would be such a shame for Lincolnshire to lose such a long standing attraction, which also demenstrates all the hard work the RAF do daily.

Me and all my family have been going to Airshows for around 30 years in total, starting with Church Fenton, North Yorkshire, when it cost £5 per car entrance fee. (yes that was a long time ago).Then Waddington for the past 15 years. We ar all gutted that Waddington is cancelled, not just for us but for the loss of business to the Lincolnshire area and to Coach travel firms. this is the only really big airshow that is anywhere near us, otherwise it's a 4 hour drive to Fairford.

Love going to waddington, have done for years, we need to fight to keep these air shows for the good that they do for the forces and community. We have lost so many in recent years, and so many planes to boot, we all need to stand up and support both for future generations to enjoy

As a long time attendee of the Waddington Airshow, I feel it would be a shame to lose such a great event - and a crisis for Lincoln's visitor trade.

This is bomber county and we have a strong link to the RAF. Lets keep this airshow going so we can educate future generations and maintain our heritage. I grew up going to the airshow and I fully intend to bring my little girl up the same way... Assuming you keep it going for us!
