We need more airshows not fewer, I can see why Waddington may not be suitable for future shows given it's increase in front line commitments but historic Scampton would make a worthy alternative. Lincolnshire has always been the heartland of the RAF let's hope something can be done to keep it that way.

Waddington is the best of the many airshows I have been to. It is so well organised that it is hard to imagine an alternative venue doing it as well as Waddington does.

It would be a shame to have no airshows Lincolnshire as it has so much history with the RAF. Any solution is better than no show at all so I am signing in hope that talks can mean an airshow can still be held somewhere suitable.

I am surprised that this issue hasn't come up before now, considering what is based there. It is very popular,as the numbers show and it would be a mistake not to find an alternative site in Lincolnshire.

Please consider another venue in Lincolnshire, it will be a great loss to this county if we don't have are own airshow. Many thousands of people visited Waddington air show, and they will be very disappointed if this discontinued.

Iv been going there since 1997 when it started and me n brother always went together and now it's sad that it will be no more but it should be back. They say it's too higher security risk? Wouldn't it be a high security risk for all raf bases ? BRING BACK WADDINGTON AIRSHOW!!!!!!

Lincolnshire has a great history and relationship with the RAF and aviation. The air show is an important way to relive and re educate about this relationship.
We need more airshows not fewer, I can see why Waddington may not be suitable for future shows given it's increase in front line commitments but historic Scampton would make a worthy alternative.
