The sacrifice and dedication of generations demands an airshow in the heartland of the RAF to honour them and support current heroes in adversity.

There must be an airshow, either Waddington or Scampton, as it would be awful not to have an airshow in the north.

The opportunities to support, relate and get close to the RAF are becoming fewer and fewer, There is something unique and special about a non-commercial airshow and over the years Waddington has become the premier location for this.

Awful decision by the RAF you need all of the public support you can get . There must be other venues that could be used. Not all of us can get to RIAT

We have been to every one of the Waddo !! shows {Bar the one washed out by the weather} a round trip of about 250 miles , staying a few nights in our motorhome nearby.Lets hope we can still do the same in future even if it,s a different venue !.

It would be terrible to have no airshow in 'Bomber' county any more. Lincolnshire needs an airshow!

Waddington holds so many memories of the greatest ever air shows , it has to go on as a tribute to all those who never returned in World War Two , Our Black Buck stands as a tribute to everything that was once great in British aviation history , a shame that no 'British' aircraft are based here any more.

Once it was RAF Finningley that hosted the Air Show... then it moved to RAF Waddington. Surely you can use RAF Scampton ... Its ideally placed it has AMPLE parking on the Show Ground which would give them some revenue, and Spectators could be shuttled to the Base from there...at least by using Scampton the RAF would get more use out of the base than just using it for Touch and Go passes for Training and for the home of the Reds...its as famous a base as any other ... The starting point of THE DAMBUSTERS, its a LONG way for the people who live in the North to visit RIAT... Scampton is just about in the middle of the Country.

Scampton gets my vote too. Co-location has to be the best option over a defence of the country airbase.

Devastated and gutted that waddo show will not go ahead after the runway repairs prior to that happening I came all the way from Chippenham Wiltshire and stayed at a b and b in Bracebridge Heath so so handy for the show gutted for the fact in everyway that Lincolnshire is sure aviation county so as The Queen show says The Show Must Go On

an air display in bomber county is a must to keep the memories of the 55000 crews that flew from there and never came back alive, please RAF

Not only are air shows an amazing spectacle, they also encourage our youngsters to take up engineering in this country.

Lincolnshire is the legendary home of the RAF & Bomber Command. Please try to keep this, or a similar show in Lincs. However, if not, keeping it in the North is vital. How about one of the longest runways in the country ? Elvington, east Yorkshire
