In recent events, school shootings have been an issue in the United States that lead to multiple innocent casualties. In the recent Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, a teacher was shot in the process of securing the classroom door from the exterior side. Anna Cecilia Girao, one of the students that witnessed the tragedy, claimed that she was in her geography class when the shooting started. Her teacher hurried to secure the door from the outside, but instead was shot and killed by the shooter.

My team of social activists want to prevent situations like this and need your support. We currently attend Vaughn International Studies Academy and our goal is to implement interior locks to our classroom doors for the safety of our classmates and faculty.
