I used to go to this cafe, but for some reason i just stopped. Most of my experiences have been fine, but there have been a few incidents that have pissed me off. One was a lady cooking burgers commented on my weight when i went to get a 2nd plate. It's kinda funny because she herself was big also. I guess she never heard the phrase "people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones." The second was the pizza lady getting a nasty attitude after i took the last two slices of pizza, when everyone before me did the same thing. Why not just say before hand only get 1 slice instead of waiting so you can yell at a random person for not knowing? Also why does it look like most of the workers in there always have a bad attitude? I decided to give them one more shot today at breakfast, but that was an awful idea. The syrup was weird in taste and consistency, somehow they thought it was a good idea to lower the amount of cereal choices from 5 or 6 to 3. The waffle batter was weird and the waffles had an awful taste. Until i see massive improvement, here are my 3 choices.
1. Go to the foster cafe
2. Use any money i have to get something from a store, restraunt, or vending machine.
3. Just starve

I don't go to the cafeteria often, but the times I did, I was disappointed with the food being served. This is outrageous for this to be happening at our HBCU, I feel like this would not be a problem at a PWI.

The cafe food for the most part is horrible i only go in for breakfast some of the cafe workers suck as Ms.tasha and Ms.Amanda are very nice to me and the students they never have an attitude but Ms.Brenda on the other hand is out of control

Im a student at JSU and there’s now reason they should pay that much for a meal plan to receive the minimum of food quality. Do better we ALL care

I had a tape worm last semester, went online to find the deans email and emailed him. Never got a response back.

If it’s causing problems for students, I’m down for it. You should want the best for the students considering they’re the one that keeps you all funded. Fix the issue please! Good Luck AAMU
