The AAMU Dining Hall conditions are unacceptable.

This post is very disturbing to me. We as parents send our children to school to learn and flourish not only mentally but emotionally and physically. They can not do this if they are NOT receiving the proper nourishment. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE especially with the price that pare ts pay for their children to receive the three proper meals that are being paid for. AAMU.... I'm not sure if this is a problem at all universities but I know it is a big problem at HBCUs. We pay too much for dining services for workers to be underpaid and for services to be less than satisfactory. I hope that you all can get your problem resolved.

It’s terrible

This is the reason I removed my child from the school. On 3 different occasions she was taking to the ER/ urgent care for food related illnesses . The meal plan is a waste of money. Horrible experience during her Freshman year.

I feel the problems need to be addressed properly and punctually. An enormous amount of parents entrust their children to AAMU. Outside of education, parents have a reasonable expectation of adequate housing and food. Due to the fact that these two things are deemed the most expensive, the administration, board, included, should assure the aforementioned is provided without blemish. You are an HBCU that attracts young men and women from all over the United States. It is appalling and an insult to those who worked so hard to obtain and maintain an institution for our loved ones when we were not allowed or denied the same opportunities in education. Our children are not a dollar sign, but our future...invest!! Shame on you all!!

Don't appreciate the food conditions considering the large amount of money we're paying for the housing and food programs.

My son goes to this school , it’s his first year and sadly this will be his last year. He has voiced many concerns regarding the standard of the school and the dining facility is one of them. The price that they are charging is not adding up to the quality that is delivered.

I am a parent of a student at AAMU, I spend too much money for my child to eat this mess.

My child is a Sophomore at the University. This is an outrageous.
