I stand behind and support those that have to deal with this substandard quality.

I've never attended a HBCU!! NOW I see why!!! The faculty and students should call the health department daily until something is done!!! I wouldn't pay for the meal plan!!! I have family that attends there!!

This is very disappointing! This is also very disrespectful to our African American culture! Why are treating our people like this.!! My husband and I were proud and honored to send our son to a HBCU! We have bent over backwards to afford our son to be educated by this prestigious university or so we thought! From housing to the Cafe to financial aid has been very disappointing! Please fix it and or re-emburse me! My son lives is Stephens Hall and has not had adiquite heating this year! This is ridicules!

That's horrible to look at. Parents pay good money for their children's education and this is what they are served.

My granddaughter plans to attend school there in the fall. If this is the situation there I believe we will have to consider other options.

This is unacceptable and I hope that this is rectified as soon as possible. Parents, including myself, want to ensure that our children are receiving the nourishments they need and what we are paying for. I also hope that there is some form of reimbursement for the out of pocket expense that is spent towards food while the problem still remains

It sounds like not much has changed in over 10 years. I was a student at AAMU from 2005-2009 and the work ethic, environment and food selection was poor then. Both the employees and the students deserve better, especially since sometimes this is the only food students can afford.

As a parent I’m very disappointed and highly upset to see this is how we treat our black adults at a HBCU. As if we don’t have enough to deal with in this world that our own ppl will treat our kids as if they don’t matter!! They matter!! With the overly price meal card of $1864 is outrageous to pay for three meal when our kids can’t eat the food that’s being served. You have parent like myself having to take out loans just to keep our kids in school to pay for a meal options that just not worth it!! This is down right wrong on all levels. We should have meal options and not be made to purchase what we are told to purchase. I guarantee the President is not being serve this type of food!!!! We should be reimbursed for every meal our kids hasn’t been able to receive!! My daughter is current a sophomore at A&M and when she was a freshman she complained to me continually about the cafeteria food and staff service. Plus I had to take her to the doctor for constant stomach issues from eating at the cafeteria. The current food service Aramark should be removed from the campus if they can’t provide top notch service to our black babies as they do other college like UA!! We deserve better and demand it!!

Its sad that I told my daughter at an early age to attend an HBCU. Once she became a student at AAMU we both realized it was a bad decision. I lost faith in HBCUs due to greed and egos. #riphbcus

Need immediate changes throughout the whole food department. The old ladies have attitudes for no reason, and don’t know how to talk to Others.

As a parent I'm truly disappointed. My child has attended AAMU three years. The food situation gets worse every year. Against my daughter wishes we purchased a meal plan. It was a waste of my child's funds as she only ate there a few times. . She refuse to eat there anymore because she got food poisoning. Please do better. We love the campus but, unacceptable living and eating conditions makes it hard to continue support.

As a recent graduate of AAMU i spent my entire college career living on campus and as soon as i was able to divert from the mandatory meal plan from the hours to the food and the workers majority of the time i would be forced to pick a mean plan but i never used it this must change.

This is horrible. What happens when students get sick. Fire the staff.
